Portrait Of Jesus Found?
It appears another major find of Biblical proportions has occurred again as a series of 70 ancient books, this time made of metal have not only been discovered but some say the image of Jesus may be on the books.
Well that’s what some are speculating about the image as the books date back to the 1st Century AD and had been hidden in a cave not too far from where the famous Dead Sea Scrolls had been found over 50 years or more.
These small books, about the size of a credit card depict information regarding Biblical events and the cover of this one book has some claiming it may be the image of Jesus.
Others don’t buy it and say the image looks more like a lion and probably is such.
Theologians and the public are going nuts over this find as they want to know more about the contents and this is becoming more of a real life version of the “Indiana Jones” movies, fraught with mysterious dealers, shadowy figures, treasure thieves and heroic rescues of ancient texts.
This story will be something to keep an eye on if you’re a fan of such fields of research as experts will be pouring over this new find to prove authenticity and verify the contents once they’re made known.
