Randy Phillips: Soldier Tells His Dad He’s Gay On Youtube

Gay soldier Randy Phillips announcing to his father that he is gay on Youtube video can be found here.
Randy Phillips is making headlines after he posted a video of himself telling his dad for the very first time that he was gay.
This evening the US military officially and quietly repealed the controversial policy known as ‘Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell’ created by Bill Clinton that prohibited men and women to serve while being openly homosexual.
The news that is being celebrated by gays all over America prompted Randy Phillips who is a 21 year old solider currently stationed in Germany to film himself while having what must have been the most emotional and difficult discussion with his father back in America.
A teary-eyed Randy Phillips sitting in his room with the camera rolling told his father:
“I called my dad to tell him the hardest thing that gay guys will ever have to say,”
He goes on to say that he is gay and has always been.
From there on he asked the father if he still loves him to which the father replied with a simple yet reassuring YES!
Randy Phillips’ video has captured the world at an amazing speed and now has several millions of views and comments (some positive, some encouraging while others that are coming from religious people telling him that he will burn in hell).
Gay Soldier/Randy Phillips telling his father that he is gay video is after the jump.
